Terms of Service (Draft)

Dreli · Updated September 30, 2026

The agreement

These Terms of Service are a draft for Dreli, a marketplace that connects hospitality venues with staff for any shift. By creating an account you agree to this draft and to the Privacy Policy. Both documents can change after a lawyer reviews them, and the launched version will replace this draft.

What the marketplace does

Dreli helps venues post shifts and send hire requests, and helps workers find work, accept shifts, and message venues. Dreli is not the employer of the people who work a shift, and it does not operate the venue.

Payments in this version are simulated. A real charge is not collected and a worker is not paid through the app until a live payments provider is turned on.

Workers are independent contractors

Needs legal review. Worker classification (independent contractor versus employee, of the venue and of the platform) must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Do not rely on this draft.

People who offer services through Dreli are intended to be independent contractors, not employees of Dreli. A venue and a worker may have their own working relationship. Nothing in the app, including ratings, shift times, or a hire request, is meant to create employment, a partnership, or a joint venture with Dreli.

Venues set the role, time, and offered rate. Workers choose whether to accept. This product does not withhold taxes, provide benefits, or guarantee hours.

Platform fee

Venues pay a 15% platform fee on top of the worker’s pay. The fee is shown to the venue before a hire is sent. Workers are not charged this fee, and worker pay estimates in the app do not include it.

While payments are simulated, the fee is a preview of the amount a venue would be charged. It is not collected.

Cancellations and no-shows

Needs legal review. Any cancellation fee, no-show penalty, or deposit rule needs lawyer review before launch. This draft does not create those charges.

Either the venue or the worker can cancel a hire request or a confirmed shift from the booking. Cancelling updates the booking status and can notify the other person.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows can affect ratings and whether other people choose to work with you. Dreli does not automatically charge a cancellation fee or a no-show fee in this version.

Ratings

After a completed shift, venues and workers can rate each other. Ratings are meant to describe the shift. Do not use them to harass someone, to post false statements, or to share private contact details.

Dreli may hide a rating that breaks these terms. A rating dispute process still needs to be written with a lawyer before launch.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post: profile text, profile photos, venue logos, shift details, and messages. You give the app permission to store that content and show it to the other people who need it to hire, accept work, or coordinate a shift.

Post only content you have the right to use. Do not upload someone else’s logo or photo without permission, and do not send unlawful, threatening, or sexually exploitative messages.

Accounts

Use accurate name and contact details, and keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. We can suspend an account that misuses the marketplace, once a real enforcement process is reviewed by a lawyer.
